Part Time: 4 years, 2 days per week, 10am – 5pm
Choose the Sculpture Foundation Degree if you want to focus on a wide range of technical and creative skills needed for a successful sculptural practice and to develop a career in this field.
You will have the opportunity to devise an individual programme of study, working with a variety of materials and approaches, developing skills according to personal preference. Taught by some of Britain’s top practising artists, including members of the Royal Society of Sculptors, the programme will enable you to acquire traditional, figurative and contemporary sculpture skills, whilst encouraging you to develop your own sculptural language.
The course includes critique sessions in art theory and history and modules in professional development needed to springboard your career in Sculpture.
All academic students are able to take advantage of free places on the Academy’s public courses (evening, weekend and short courses). These are available at the discretion of the Academy and subject to availability.*
