Kate Dunn born in 1993 in London. Having undertook a Foundation and Central Saint Martins, Kate moved to Florence, Italy to study academic drawing and painting at The Florence Academy of Art. This decision came from a desire to push her technique to the limit before embarking on the quest of an independent practice. While at the Academy she began teaching and was awarded The Fourth Year Prize, a year during which she started investigating notions of femininity and identity through a series of self-portraits.
Kate has exhibited at galleries such as Ruth Borchard Prize, The Mall Galleries and the Royal Academy. She is currently doing an MA at City and Guilds of London Art School and teaching at The Art Academy.
