BETHAN LLOYD WORTHINGTON
Bethan Lloyd Worthington is an artist exploring themes of landscape and place through ceramic objects, installations, drawing, textiles and writing. She often draws on historical and archaeological sources, texts and personal experience – enjoying parallels between archaeological and artistic speculation. Since graduating from MA Ceramics and Glass at the Royal College of Art in 2010 she has exhibited at Syson Gallery, Siobhan Davies Studio, The Petrie Museum of Egyptian Archaeology, AirSpace Gallery, 2 Willow Road and Red House (National Trust), A.P.T. Gallery, Vulpes Vulpes, Marsden Woo Gallery, ‘Award’ at The British Ceramics Biennial and was shortlisted for the Jerwood Drawing Prize 2011. Lloyd Worthington was Ceramics Resident at the Victoria and Albert Museum in 2016-17 and was awarded 2nd in the John Ruskin Prize 2017.
