Andrew (born 1983) studied Drawing and Painting at the London Atelier of Representational Art. He has exhibited with the Royal Society of Portrait Painters, the Pastel Society, the ROI and the RBA where he won the Gordon Hulson Memorial Prize in 2017. Working entirely from observation and imagination, draughtsmanship and Impressionism are at the centre of his artistic expression. A variety of different paint applications with brushes, painting knives and fingers are made use of in an exploration of the observed and experienced world. Whilst favouring oils, other mediums are also used if they suit an idea including encaustic, linocut, graphite and ink.
