This Young Artist course is a new and exciting five day ONLINE course for those who are at least 11 years old. We are offering a  high level of tuition in drawing and sculpting focusing on the human head.
Students who would like to learn how to accurately represent individual features of a human face in 2D as well as in 3D will find that this course is helping them with their artistic skills and creative confidence. The course will culminate in a self-portrait bust made in clay.

Students can purchase materials pack which will contain everything they will need to join the course including – a sketchbook, pencils, air-drying clay and other materials.

What level is this course?

This course is suitable for students between the ages of 11 to 17 and is open to all skill levels.

  • Young Artists - Aged 11-17

    Chose this course if you are aged between 12 & 16. This course is open to all skill levels, whether you love art and are looking to advance you artistic skills and creative confidence or are new to the subject and want a bit of an introduction!

What will I need?

Preparation for the course:

  • Please ensure that you are ready before your first lessons starts. You should wear cloths that can get messy.
  • Your working area should be protected
  • Your computer/laptop is set- up and ready to go

  • A4 sketch book

  • a wooden shaping knife (small),

About Your Tutor

ALICE CLARKE

Alice is a multidisciplinary, London based artist, she makes everything from paintings and sculpture to moving image and sound installations. Her interest is in physical and social infrastructures that support our everyday lives, which comes from her background in engineering. She graduated with a diploma from the Art Academy London in 2018 where she was awarded the Allied World Scholarship.

  • Deliberate disruption of the session/conversation
  • Harassment, bullying, intimidation

  • Intimidation or threats
  • Unwelcome sexual attention
  • Any activity meant to convey or cultivate hostility

Enforcement

If you violate the code of conduct we retain the right to eject you immediately from the lesson. Future participation will be discussed and you will be notified of the appropriate course of action.

  • Please ensure that at all times you follow our Code Of Conduct.
  • Please note that the Art Academy cannot be held responsible for student’s technology and/or connectivity. If for any reason (including technical) students are unable to take part, we will not be providing compensation. We are not responsible for any subsequent cost accrued from high data usage.
  • You will need to have paid in full before the first session of your class. Your place is not guaranteed until we have received full payment. Please book early in order to guarantee your place on the course.
