This course will guide you through the basics of editing and creating imagery in Photoshop. It has become one of the most integral tools for the development of any contemporary art practice. Whether you are a photographer retouching photographs, a painter working out compositions or a sculptor editing photos of your work, the seemingly endless potential of this software can improve your artistic production. Your experienced tutor will guide you step by step through the basics of Photoshop and will show students how to edit images via the screen-share option of Zoom. After each exercise the students will apply what they have learnt to the images that they have been sent. They are encouraged to ask questions or share their screen if they would like some guidance. There will be a small 5 minutes break after the first hour of the lesson so students can have moment away from their screens.
Please note that students must have Photoshop installed to take part on this course.
