This popular course is ideal for beginners or repeat attendees. In Relief Printmaking Part 2, students will be carving Japanese plywood plates to create a multi-plate print edition. Relief printing focuses on form and texture; you will learn to combine the tone, hue and saturation of multiple colours to achieve an edition of prints on archival Italian paper. The course fee covers all materials needed. There is a maximum of ten students per course guided by one to one tutoring from experienced printmaker Theo Ereira-Guyer.
Open Access runs on Wednesday evening and Saturday during the day, giving you the opportunity to further develop your printmaking skills.
