You will need to list the number of dependents including yourself (if applicable – i.e you are not the income provider). If you are the income provider (or one of them) please include the number of people who depend on you.
Employment and income
This section should detail your employment, including part time work. If you are not employed please explain why.
If you are not the main household income provider, please provide details of them here. You are required to provide any extra information about any other income provider in your household (e.g. partners or parents).
You will need to provide proof of household income;
P60 for each income provider
Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)
The main purpose of this section is so that you can have an overview of your own expenditure and consider budgeting for your period of study.
Study costs; while you may know some of the figures accurately (i.e. fees) most of the information within this section will be expected to be an estimate.
Domestic costs; again, most of the information within this section will be expected to be an estimate. You should provide a bank statement highlighting rent/ mortgage costs. You may be asked for proof of other, specific outgoings.
The total costs of both subsections (study and domestic costs) should match the total funding plan.
If you have applied for or are planning to apply for external funding, please input the information in this section, even if you haven’t yet received an outcome for the application (state successful, rejected or pending in the last column).
In this section you must submit a breakdown of where the funding will come from to cover the expenditure detailed. The total in the funding plan should match the total costs in the expenditure section.
You should provide any information here that you think is relevant in aiding us to make a decision about your eligibility for an Academic Bursary. You may wish to disclose any circumstances that you feel may affect employment or difficulties in raising funds for your studies.
Request, Declaration & Confirmation (if applicable)
You will need to supply the required supporting evidence and agree that you will notify us upon a change of circumstances within the academic year that means you no longer require the awarded bursary.
If you are not the main household income provider and someone else is contributing to cover your expenses, this person must sign and date the relevant section.
