The Art Academy – London

Student Jeni Turnbull Leaves Generous Legacy to the Academy

November 28th, 2016  |  Published in News

The Art Academy wants to pay tribute to part time student Jeni Turnbull, who we have learnt sadly passed away in July 2014 and has generously left us a legacy of £5000.  Jeni came to The Art Academy quite late in life to learn about sculpture.  In its early days she was very supportive of the charity and was a wonderful presence in the studio.  She created some lovely sculpture and was a great part of our community.  We wish to thank her for supporting The Art Academy‘s work in this way, and our deepest thoughts and condolences go out to her family. This money will continue to support the important work The Art Academy does, a charity set up to support the creation of great works of art and give creative opportunities to the wider community.
