Monette Larsen has an extensive range of skills gained over more than 12 years of working with glass. She graduated in 2014 from the Royal College of Art with a MA in Glass and Ceramics but specialising in Glass and have a Glass Art degree from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Art. She has experience in blown glass and other techniques but her passion and specialist area is kiln-formed glass: working with casting, fusing and slumping. Monette moved to the UK in 2008 to pursue further technical skill working as an assistant to two sculptors working in kilnformed glass. Alongside teaching Monette makes her own work, to commission and for exhibition, in her studio in south London. She has completed a year as Artist in Residence at the University for the Creative Arts in Farnham and her worked has been exhibited in USA, Denmark, Sweden, Germany and United Kingdom and she has work in various private collections.
